Dr. Bonakdar is a highly trained cardiologist specializing in cardiac electrophysiology, with more than two decades of international clinical and academic experience. He completed his cardiology residency and fellowship in interventional electrophysiology in Iran in 2008.
He subsequently served as Assistant Professor of Cardiology at an academic, university-affiliated hospital until 2014, where he contributed extensively to patient care and academic research. In 2016, Dr. Bonakdar completed advanced fellowship training in electrophysiology at St. Michael’s Hospital and the University of Toronto.
Since then, he has practiced in Canada, earning recognition for his patient-centered approach and unwavering commitment to accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plans. His clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of general cardiology, with particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, and particularly cardiac arrhythmias, as well as preventive cardiology focused on optimizing cardiovascular risk factors.
Mojgan brings decades of experience in the medical field, along with a calm, caring approach that helps patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
She assists with cardiac stress testing and electrocardiograms (ECG), ensuring each test is conducted smoothly and efficiently. Mojgan is attentive, detail-oriented, and focused on creating a positive experience for every patient during the testing process.
Known for her kindness and reassuring presence, she takes the time to guide patients through each step, helping them feel at ease and well cared for.
Mojgan works closely with the clinical team, supporting accurate data collection while physicians review and interpret all results.
